I'm going on vacation to the Grand Sunset Princess resort this summer and I will like to know if Anyone has the customer service desk email?
Thanks you

I just got back from this place Jan 4th. I was there on Dec 28th. The people that write bad [things] about this resort don't know what they are talking about. This place was amazing. Food was great. Had no problems with anything. Beach was okay, it was kinda rocky walking out into the ocean. But everything else was amazing!!!! I would go back for sure.

Excellent!! Beautiful resort, great food- wide variety. Staff very helpful, although language a barrier at times. (Made for some good laughs). Will definitely return with my family next year. Security was great, always felt very safe. Grounds were beautiful and very well kept. A fantastic experience all around!

The room in which we stayed had a very comfy bed and it was sparkling clean. The staff was incredible! The food was amazing. It was a wonderful experience, a true paradise. The ocean view was fantastic. We had no problem with the check in the attention and the restaurants had variation.

We got back from a wonderful week yesterday from the Sunset Princess Hotel and were totally impressed with this facility. If I had a criticism to make , it would be the amount of walking that we had to do, however that really wasn't a bad thing ether because we all can use exercise. The resort is beautiful, and I can't say enough about the staff, they were very helpful, polite, and above all ver...
This was our first experience at an all-inclusive and it totally knocked our socks off! The place was well laid out, and although it was huge, they had a frequent shuttle to help you get from one end to the other. The place was clean and felt first class. The food was outstanding. They had so many specialty restaurants we couldn't get to them all. The pools were good, and there was never more than...

This place was great. Close, but not too far from Cancun. The food was very good for an all inclusive. Place was beautiful.
I went down with my best friend, we're both girls (petite i might add) so we were a bit worried about safety. The resort was great, very safe, and the staff very friendly.
Lots of other singles, and lots of partying. We had an amazing ti...

HOLA!!!! This resort was absolutely amazing!! My husband & I had a Great time!! We both agree it is worth all the enjoyment to upgrade to platinum, would not do it any other way!! The jacuzzi on the balcony was Great, as well as the tub in our room!! The beach was amazing as well as the pools, and the swim up bars!! And I will say if you are going to be cheap, then be prepared to walk a little bit...

Two weeks of heaven! We took our 2 grandchildren (10 and 11) and had a beautiful ocean view room in the Platinum area (highly recommend this). Only one small problem with the beds on arrival so moved to another room the next day - always anxious to make us happy. The Platinum suites have their own private pool and lounge area, bar, snacks, private area on the beach, free room service, free intern...

The princess is a beautiful resort ! But, splurge and get the villa package, amazing ! The private pool, 24 hour room service, and massage made it all very worth while. The staff was very accommodating. And the resort was easy to navigate. From check in to the beach is about an 11 min walk. Not the hike we were expecting from other reviews. 5th ave (Playa del Carmen) was a 19.00 cab ride and had l...

From the moment of booking everything when flawless. I got some issues with my name which was addressed quickly by online booking hotline. (Great job Krystal). At the Hotel everything was great as well. Great accommodations and service, if anyone is planning to go to Maya Rivera, you won't be wrong booking at the Grand Princess Hotel. Great services and accommodation, it is worth it to upgrade to ...

The best resort I have ever stayed at! All the staff were very friendly. The food was also very good at the a La Carte restaurants, and the buffet has something for everyone. This resort is pure luxury. The platinum suite is highly recommended. The extras are worth every penny. Not to mention that internet is included in the platinum rooms. This allowed me to Skype back home at no cost. The only n...

This was our first big vacation. We celebrated out 30th anniversary there. We had no idea what to expect and boy were we suprised. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed the food, entertainment, pools and the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating. When the hotel found out about our anniversay they set a beautiful heart swan in our room. The rooms were very clean. We stayed in the juni...

This resort was amazing!!!! It is basically connected to the sister resort the Grand Riviera. You have so many options in terms of a la Carte restaurants, bars, and swimming pools. The resort is spotless!!! There appear to be crews working 24 hrs to keep it that way - they are very hard workers. We were in the Platinum Yucatan (adults only) swim up rooms. Originally two were booked there and two b...

This resort was beautiful. Loved our swim out suite. No problem getting reservations for restaurant's for same night up to 3 nights in advance. Best hamburger's ever had in Mexico in sports lounge. Very accommodating in tuning the big screen, in the sports lounge, to Winnipeg Jets Game's while we were there. Waitress "YARA" would bring our drinks around the pool without even asking and once she kn...

We had an excellent stay at this resort. We enjoyed the location, amenities, our room was really nice, the food (yes, at the buffet, it was very good! there's so much that, if you can't find something your like ...), the beverages and (overall) the service. The pools are everywhere and there's plenty of room. Sure, the Fantasy Bar pool is a little noisy during the day, so we just went elsewher...

Had a great time. Very large resort. Only Problems were getting clean towels and getting onto internet and using the telephone but hey we are in Mexico! Food was good and no lineups anywhere. Went to the Valentine Resort the last time in the same area. Valentine a bit better but This resort had a better price. A great holiday. Would go back again but reconsider the extra money to stay at the Valen...

We found the hotel to be very large and anywhere you went was a long walk but other than that, the grounds are kept impeccably, rooms were well maintained and very clean. You need to be at the beach or pool early if you want to get shade! You will always be able to get a lounger but not necessarily in the shade. There are a lot of beach loungers but they vary from good to poor condition. We found ...

My fiance and I stayed at the Grand Sunset from Jan. 18th to Jan. 25th. We were initially put on the third floor on the Grand Sunset side and asked for a ground floor room so we got moved to the Riviera side which turned out much better (more convenient). The resort(s) is beautiful however be prepared to cover a lot of tracks (a lot of walking). The first few days we arrived, I thought I would lik...

Grand Yucatan Princess Platinum Suites - We stayed in Yucatan for 8 days during April 30 to May7. We had a great time in this hotel. The hotel staffs are very friendly. Especially, I got skin allergy caused by suncream or insect spray. I went to medical centre at mid-night and got treatment right away. Thanks God, this didn't interrupt my day trip.
The foods in hotel are all good, ...

Just got back from 2 weeks at the Grand Sunset Pincess, and can say we had a great time. The food at the resort was fantastic with lots of selection. Lots of fresh fruits, juices, as well as standard greasy breakfast food for those special days. We only ate at the a al cates 3 times because the buffet at dinner was also excellent. Lots of fresh fish, seafood, turkey, prime rib, chicken, mexica...

This was our first trip to Mexico. That is why prior to booking, I was very cautious about picking the right vacation package. I read several reviews before narrowing our hotel choice to one. To top it off, the week of our vacation was in the middle of hurricane Gustav. BUT, it turned out to be a wonderful trip. The flight was good and the hotel was very good too. The resort was kept clean at all ...

The resort was beautiful, new and modern. We didn't realize the two sister resorts, Sunset and Riviera, were on the same property and shared all amenities. So if you booked either resort, keep in mind you're going to a resort of over 1000 rooms... it's huge! I normally don't like large resorts but this one was so big that even though there were a lot of people, it never felt crowded. I had no ...

THIS IS THE SAME RESORT AS GRAND RIVIERA PRINCESS. PRINCESS IS PRINCESS. THIS IS THE SAME ONE THAT EXPLODED ON NOV 14, 2010
This is also from CBC News National on how this resort covered up the explosion ever since it has happened. Basically this resort has tried everything to hide what has happened, and denied the victims from any dignity:

Beautiful beach and good staff. Didn't get alot of information at check in so be sure to ask about the free daily shuttle into Playa rather than taking a cab! Sunwing has an office right on site and it's easy to book tours through them once you arrive. They have a currency exchange right on site as well for both Pesos and USD. Stock up on sunscreen before you go because it's expensive. The food at...

Beautiful hotel and sea. Great entertainment with nightly shows and discos. Hotel staff were friendly, with the exception of staff at the reception. Those guys need some serious manners training and they need to at least pretend that they are happy to see tourists. The food was beyond horrible though. They had good selection of fruits and desserts but the main courses were far from edible. Overfri...

A clean and well organized complex with good food and drinks. Beautiful beach and swimming pools. Don't really count on the Gym and play room as the equipment are not being maintained and serviced. Most of the staff were not as helpful as they should be especially at the reception desk. All together a positive experience.

We really enjoyed our time at the Grand Sunset Princess. We would definitely recommend upgrading to the platinum package as the customer service was great. We were a bit disappointed with the size of the private pool, as well as the view from our room.

We stayed in a Platinum Oceanview suite which was very nice and worth the upgrade, easy ala carte reservations and private pool and bar. The beach was quite rocky and very shallow. We found the food average at best, but the nightly entertainment in the courtyard was great..live bands every night with a variety of musical styles.

Overall, this was a good trip. The resort is beautiful - well-kept, good food, good service. Our biggest problem was how spread out it was. There was about a 15 minute walk (or more) to everything (beach, lobby, restaurants, etc). They had a shuttle running, but if you just miss one, there is quite a wait (in extremely hot and humid weather) until the next one comes. On the plus side, considering ...

After staying at several all-inclusives in this area over the years, big and small, this hotel was a disappointment. The complex is fairly new and very well appointed overall. We had a junior suite, which faced outward toward the access road around the property. It was very noisy at all hours of the night with traffic and night staff servicing the bars and restaraunts near the beach. Did not have ...

The hotel room was excellent. The resort was big enough that you could get peace and quiet if needed or join in to the partying. The food was a big dissapointment especially the Alla Carts. First off good luck getting a AllaCart before 9:00pm. The food at the Alla Cart was pretty bad. The food at the buffets was better. At the Mexican Alla Cart I could finish my dinner. Ity was that bad.

I have visited seven all inclusive resorts in Mexico. I believe the following review is very fair and points out the good and bad points of this resort so travellers can decide if these issues are important to them:
- one of the best looking well kept resorts you will find
- there appears to be a power problem with this resort, and you will find references to it on var...

There is no way this hotel could be rated a 5 star during the time that I was there (Feb 15-23). As several posts had mentioned, the beach is rocky and beach shoes are a must while in the ocean otherwise the coral will cut your feet, guaranteed!! The food at the buffets is quite bad; very basic. What didn't go at dinner was served the next day at breakfast, then lunch, then dinner, then breakfast....

Food was terrible. The service was OK, however if something out of the ordinary happened the staff did not know how to deal with it. So, it took a long time to resolve simple issue. ie. room cleaner wrapped up the TV remote with the sheets, it took 6 hrs to get it back. (not that i was there to watch TV)
A group of us attempted to each at the pay restaurant (Tai Bistro) in hopes the food woul...

This is not a 5 star. Our airport hotel in Calgary, Acclaim I think, was much more comfortable. Rooms -- Beds only doubles, not queens. Beds hard, sheet did not go to the bottom of the bed. Pillows terrible. One night had water leaking from a light fixture. Internet -- paid $70 for the week for internet. You were only allowed to connect one device and we could only get coverage in the bathroom.
