My wife and I booked this trip to The Oasis Cancun [by escapes.ca] very good price. It was 6 hrs flight to The Hotel, but took us 1 and 1/2 hrs to check in, very slow. Our room was just in front of the sea shore, very nice and clean.The beach is so beautiful with white sands and so clean. Some nights were noisy but still ok. Hotel service is good, food is good. My wife and I enjoyed this trip.

The Grande Oasis was great... the staff was super friendly, (amazing drink and food service on the beach!!) the rooms were comfortable... and the food was varied enough for the week. I read all the reviews of this resort after I had already booked our 1 week all inclusive vacation at The Oasis Cancun. I was scared of what we were going to experience because most of the reviews were so bad. I can only tell you that our experience was fabulous. i traveled to Cancun 2 years ago now during spring break. The hotel was amazing, room was great, view was awesome. Beach was absolutely beautiful and tons of people. A party hotel for sure. my boyfriend and i went april 2006.The rooms were very basic no mirror,really hard beds,tv only had a few channels and no mini bar stocked with drinks like it says.The pool was good except there was no designated pool area for the kids they were everywhere.Food got very sick towards the end of the week same thing almost everyday and the "a la carte " seemed like the food was premade,the sushi bar ...

Not enough restaurants, had 2 hour wait for table nightly. Not enough beach lounge chairs, went to beach 3 days in a row at 8am and all chairs were taken.

The food was good and a lot of variety of resterants. Biggest problem is hotel staff at front desk will make an appointment you think its with a co-ordinator for you vacation activities, but in fact it is with Royal Holdiay and they will take up your whole morning. Everything they tell you to try to sell you thier packages are lies. We learned the hard way and are now trying to get our money ba...

The overall hotel was good.The rooms could have been better. There were leaking taps, not enough toilet paper left,not enough towels and check out time is too early. No courtesy room unless you pay for it. The restaurants were all excellent. Excursions booked through tour operators at the hotel were great. Pools were nice but bars were too far apart. Weather was great.

Beware! This place is a dump. Do not go here if you are looking for a quality resort. Rooms smell like sewage and missing the regular amenities. Food never changed. You won't be getting a margarita with dinner. They annoy you to buy a time share inside the hotel if you look like you can afford it. They included a donation to the hotel on our bill. The hotel leaked water every where including the room when it rained. There was mold on the walls and when we tried to switch rooms we kept getting the run around. The day we left our luggage was covered in mold. I would not recommened the rooms in this hotel it has not recovered from the hurricane. On the positive side the hotel pool and beach were excellent.

OMG...what a dump, worst hotel I've ever stayed in, there is no way that this hotel is a 4 star.
